Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The ladybug land will engage all my students because they will be able to see the lifecycle of the ladybug. This opportunity will help encourage their curiosity and strengthen their language development by asking questions and making comments. The ladybug counting math game and safari insects will allow me to extend and elaborate their learning through counting, language development, number recognition, and science.

The STEAM supplies I am requesting will provide many diverse, hands-on, learning opportunities for all students.

The Magna Tile roads and magnetic people will inspire students' imagination and creativity beyond imagination. These opportunities help promote students' curiosity as they make up their own stories, build structures, and roads.
