Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach in San Antonio ISD. The students benefitting from this campaign are critical-thinkers who love STEAM and want to learn more about how to build and create in the classroom. These students will be joining me in an after-school club designed to enrich their learning.
My students have no lack of imagination and creative inspiration: they just need the opportunities and resources to help them explore those sides of their brains.
My Project
The use of these supplies will help students design and conduct various projects in STEAM Club. Allowing students to explore these different aspects of STEAM helps them become better thinkers, problems solvers, and provides them access to materials that enhance learning after school and teach them skills that can be applied both in and out of the classroom.
Donating to our project will help students get hands-on experience designing and conducting experiments.
Batteries will power the propeller motors we design. Measuring tools will help ensure our chemical experiments will produce the desired result.
