This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your generous support, we aim to provide our students with a hands-on authentic learning experience, and fun interactions with S.T.E.A.M. activities/resources to support their curiosity and community-building.

While we study rigorous, standards-based grade-level content, we learn and practice interpersonal, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills, to name a few.

We are a learning community built on engaging, hands-on, real life learning experiences. Because learning is a community centered, relationship-building it is a crucial and consistent priority. I facilitate these interactions in various ways-through partner and group discussions/opportunities to work, games, special events, etc.

Equity Focus
