My Project

For the 2023 School year, our school was designated SILVER by the district STEAM department. This year I will be engaging students in enriching STEAM learning activities through DIY Projects.

Students will learn how to make their organic skin care items using various soft and hard butter, natural oils, and organic products.

Moreover, complete STEAM activities and will incorporate all components from start to finish. They will utilize their science and math knowledge in these DIY projects. They will learn how to measure chemicals and convert them within units. Students are always excited to do hands-on and these truly enjoy making products they can use.

Ms. Mitchell Norland Middle School Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
