Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will motivate students to participate in the STEAM fair and engage with real world science applications. The pandemic has exacerbated the education gap particularly in STEAM content areas. This fair is meant to celebrate our students efforts to understand and interact with science, technology, engineering, art, and math and showcase their learning. We are aiming to build positive connections to STEAM areas and encourage our students to expand their knowledge. These prizes will support students in STEAM fields by giving them access to explore new technology and experiment with building.
Our students did a wonderful job with their projects last year and we are hoping to encourage other students to attend the fair and learn from their peers.
