My Project

This project would enable my students to have the opportunity to learn more about building in 3D. It would allow them to build structures and sculptures, as well as inventions that they create on their own. They would be able to use the space collaboratively or individually. This project will also help in creating collaborative projects that teams up library and art, and having the students work in groups to create an interactive game from cardboard. Learning in this way fosters a sense of creativity and curiosity. We also use the Engineering Process with students for them to figure out how to go back and make changes when things don't work the first time. This fosters perseverance and understanding that even with professional Engineers, things are not built in their final form the first time, there is always room for improvement.
