My Students

My students are reclaiming their education and coming back to school to find job opportunities and furthering their skills. We are a real-world learning school and students get a chance to have internships in potential job fields.

Our Mascot is a Honeybadger, they are fierce animals attacking lions without fear and possess extreme intelligence.

Many of our students have to be strong against negative influences in their community. The spirit of our student body is strong and determined to find their way into a career.

My Project

My project is a way for us as educators to send home LEGO steam kits from our math department. We have been trying to find inexpensive ways to have students experience builder spaces at their home during quarantine. It’s a great way to reach out and students enjoy hands-on experiences. I’m noticing students are very receptive to mail coming to the house. Our math department is attempting to come up with ideas to keep students interested and engaged in STEAM during covid 19. We will give a builder kit to each student.
