Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need specific classroom supplies to allow them to be creative and interactive with their learning as well as let out some of that energy. Books are essential in our first grade classroom. We love to create new things and take our learning from picture books, study units, and real-life connections with drawings, charts, projects, presentations, etc.
With these fidget toys, my first-grade students will work individually and collaboratively on instructional activities while not feeling the pressure of the hard work they are required to do.
The treasure chest and fidget toys will help promote positive reinforcement in order to engage my students in full capacity. My little scholars love to express their ideas and share their answers. The LEGO sets will help build their emotional and social environment. We have a family relationship in our classroom. My kids work together and help each other out, despite the difficulties they face at home. I teach my first graders and want them to have everything they need to be successful.
