My Project

At P.S. 15, we are committed to igniting curiosity and fostering a love for learning in our students from a very young age. Our goal is to provide our Pre-K through 5th-grade students with hands-on, engaging STEAM experiences that will lay the foundation for their future success in these critical fields. To enhance our STEAM curriculum, we are seeking support for a variety of tools and materials that will bring our lessons to life.

Your generous donations will go directly towards purchasing items that are integral to our STEAM curriculum, and your support will enable us to provide enriching, hands-on experiences that are essential for our students' growth and development.

The Code and Go Mice will introduce students to basic coding and computational thinking through interactive, hands-on activities, helping them grasp key concepts like sequencing, problem-solving, and logical reasoning while building a strong coding foundation. Batteries are essential for powering our electronic STEAM kits and gadgets, ensuring that all equipment functions properly and supports effective experimentation. Weather Experiment Kits will engage students in exploring weather phenomena through hands-on activities, such as creating mini weather stations and studying weather patterns, making environmental science both exciting and interactive. Reusable paper towels are crucial for maintaining a clean and organized learning environment, managing spills, and promoting sustainability by reducing waste, thus teaching students responsibility and environmental stewardship. Small paper cups are vital for measuring, mixing, and observing during experiments, facilitating a hands-on approach to learning and enhancing students' understanding of STEAM concepts.

We invite you to be a part of our journey towards fostering a dynamic STEAM education for our Pre-K through 5th-grade students. Your contribution will make a significant difference in their educational experience and future success.
