My Project

Many students struggle in learning math because they can’t see the importance of learning and how it is connected to their daily real lives. If they will be given the opportunities to use their previous knowledge and creativity in hands-on activities, they would develop critical thinking and skills in problem-solving.

Learning by doing in STEAM education is an effective way to develop a growth mindset because it allows students to create and improvise something useful in real life with the materials available for them to use.

Hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics lets the students see what they’ve learned in action and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

Students who can create and customize balloon-powered cars, and create bridges and cranes, can eventually appreciate concepts like acceleration, speed, force, and volume. Students could be able to build connections to learning angles, average rate of change, maxima, and minima which makes learning fun and improve performance.
