Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is for all my students to stay warm at school and at home. I want to provide gloves, hats, and extra socks for all my students to have at school and home especially during these cold months. I also want to provide extra snacks for student to take home for themselves and share with siblings. I've noticed that although many students are hungry during snack time, they would rather save their snack to share with siblings once they are home. I want them to enjoy their snack at school and still able to take some home to share with siblings.

My students are so special and creative.

They are always participating during spirit days, making most of their costumes! I know they enjoy the time at school with their friends, as well as learning with their classmates and teacher.

I want students to continue learning at home with help from their siblings and parents. That is why I am also requesting two tpt cards. Tpt is awesome, and helps me buy activity plans to give to students over the weekend so they can continue their learning even after school is over. Something so small can keep students fully engaged. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, relevant, current, and engaging for all students.
