My Students

The students at my school are awesome! These students come to school each and every day ready to hit the ground running with their education. They may have struggles, but they try their hardest to fight these struggles to become better students.

My school is located in a neighborhood that faces many difficulties on a daily basis.

It is a poverty-stricken neighborhood. My school is a Title I school and every student receives free lunch daily. Even though the neighborhood isn't the best for these students and their families, they still make it to school each day. The school is most student's safe place where they can be themselves and enjoy learning.

My Project

For this upcoming school year, I have decided to use binders to keep students organized with their homework. The binder will hold all the things students need to take home their binder and complete their work. Students will have everything they need in one spot. This will help students when they go home and have to complete their work.

This binder will include a small pouch for parents to send notes, it will have a binder folder to store their reading log and book to read for the night, it will have a copybook to complete their work, and a folder to store work.

The binder will also include information needed to parents/guardians as well.
