My Students

I teach technology to first grade through third grade in a Title I school in Brooklyn, New York. Many of my students are from families that fall below the poverty line. I have students of varying levels, special needs, and languages all in the technology lab at the same time.

Many of my students do not have access to technology at home so when they come to the technology lab they are excited and eager to learn and get to work.

My students are bright, cheerful, loving, excited, and eager to learn.

My Project

This school year is like no other, with all of the new procedures and restrictions due do COVID-19 water fountains cannot be used at this time, so students need to bring water with them. Many students either forget their water bottles or are unable to afford them.

The water bottles will help make sure that every child can stay hydrated, so they can focus on their learning.

It will also prevent students from sharing water bottles with friends who don't have their own water bottle. These water bottles will also give my students one less thing to have to worry about while in class.
