My Project

I work at a school where nearly all students come from low-income households. Most of my students have chapped lips and dry hands during the wintertime. When it rains, most of my students don't have an umbrella, and it's hard for them to get to my classroom without getting wet.

I want to provide hand lotions, chapstick, and umbrellas to borrow when needed so they can stay as comfortable as they can at school while learning during the winter.

Doing so will allow them to focus on their learning rather than itchy hands and arms, pain from chapped and cracked lips, or being cold and wet. I wish to show that my students are loved and cared for, even at school. Thank you very much for your consideration!
