Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school in New York City, where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students come from economically disadvantaged family homes. Despite being at a financial disadvantage they are very eager and excited to learn all they can so they can be successful in life. My students are energetic and eager to learn.

My Project

The fans will allow my students to be cool and comfortable. They will be placed in three different areas to provide coolness as well as air circulation.

My Pre-k students will be involved in academic activities as well as physical activities.

We will be involved in lots of dancing and exercises. Staying cool Will be critical to help stay calm, cool, focused, and motivated. The fans will help provide not only a cool environment, but will also help the students and families feel welcomed and comfortable. Thanks in advance.
