Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have the biggest hearts. They are funny and silly at times and that brings a smile to everyone. They show respect for adults and other students. They are willing to help one another and show that they are ready to learn. I would love my team to give each student that extra support to take home more school materials and use it in both places when we return to school. My students look forward to coming to school and learning different strategies while we practice fun hands-on activities. We have students from different grade levels that join our group and they look forward to returning to class and socializing with their peers.

My Project

The cleaning supplies are needed because, according to Covid-19, we are implementing safety protocols in the classroom. My students clean their desks and wash their hands as needed on a daily basis. My students need a child-size disposable mask because their masks are often too large and expose their nose and mouth. In order for my students to stay motivated while studying, a tower fan is needed in the classroom. The weather is shifting, and it is having a significant impact on their environment. Providing bottled waters is a safe way for them to stay hydrated and from touching and getting germs.
