My Project

Help me get a jump start on stocking up for the upcoming school year! I lost count of the amount of times I ran out of basic items like Band-Aids and feminine hygiene products. Another teacher inspired me to start a hygiene corner with basic things that students ask for (or are sometimes too embarrassed to ask for) almost daily. Everyone has accidentally run out of the house without brushing their teeth once in their lifetime - doing it as a teen can seem world-ending. The young ladies in my class can't help when their periods start out of nowhere, or the young men who spent the last 90 minutes in weight-lifting and forgot their deodorant at home. Or the students who deal with homelessness. My goal is to keep enough items in stock just in case they happen to need them where they can access them without having to ask, so they can focus their time and energy on learning. The plan is to stock up for the upcoming school year, which is starting in just over two months!
