My Students

Hi! I teach an amazing group of sixth, seventh and eighth grade, gifted and talented students at a high poverty middle school. I am constantly impressed by their hard work and determination to succeed academically and personally.

One of my previous students was recently the valedictorian of her graduating class and is currently studying at Yale.

I believe that science should always be taught in a hands-on and exciting way, and my students love it! Wouldn't it be great to have a positive impact on these great minds?

My Project

Toothaches, odor, itchy scalp and skin, and illness all keep our kids from starting their day off fresh and clean and let's face it, it keeps our kids from being their very best.

I would love to provide my students with a toothbrush and toothpaste, a shampoo, soap, deodorant and a some hand sanitizer to help them be their very best every morning.

Many of my students don't go to the dentist or know that in Middle School you need to wash daily and start using deodorant regularly and often times their parents can't afford it or just don't think to provide it.
