My Project

My students come to school everyday eager to learn. They are kind and work extremely hard throughout the day. However, some days they need a space to calm down and refocus.

These calming tools and books will help students self-regulate so they can rejoin our class ready to learn.

They will have fidgets and sensory objects, and reading material all geared towards their social emotional well being.

It is important to create an environment where students feel safe and where they can learn to find ways to help themselves regulate to ensure they are able to learn at their best.
