My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

For this project I am requesting portable sneeze guards to be used at our shared tables in the classroom. Sometimes things just don't click and a student requires one-on-one support. These sneeze guards will allow me to safely work individually with students. They have a slot at the bottom for papers and materials to easily be passed back and forth. The large size of these shields will cover with width of my classroom tables and will allow for a safe face to face interaction.

My students deserve one-on-one attention that can be made possible by these sneeze guards.
