Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to use the materials to help create stations for students. In my classroom I use stations for review lessons. In the past I have noticed that creating movement in the class with students through stations have helped students stay engaged and is much better than going over a review sheet.

Increasing engagement after being remote for over a year can help students get their bodies and minds moving and working together.

The cart is to keep my materials organized while being portable for students to have easy access. I will be using the Jenga pieces for review questions that students will have to answer on each concept. The Uno cards will be used to use as point multipliers to add a sense of competition. ( Middle school students LOVE competition).
