This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an amazing group of 32, 4th-grade students who are enthusiastic and ready to start the new school year well organized! Help me provide my students with chair pocket organizers and homework folders to get the year off well organized!

My Students

My students come from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds in a wonderful neighborhood in the center of Los Angeles. My students speak a multitude of languages including English, Spanish, Armenian, Thai, Swedish, Lithuanian and Russian. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics and learning styles.

I hope to be able to provide them with everything they need to have a successful year!

My Project

The chair pockets will help students organizing materials instead of having desks full of papers. Students will learn to keep important papers in a place that will be easy to access. This will help them develop organizational skills.

The homework folders will help students keep track of what assignments go home and which ones they need to return to school.

They will also serve as a great way to communicate with parents. Parents can look through the folders and see what papers need can stay home and which ones need to be returned to school.
