My Students

I am preparing for a special needs kindergarten class of diverse learners with a variety of needs. My class will consist of students who may have some of the following: learning disability, emotional disturbance, autism, and speech and language impairment. As I structure my room I am thinking and planning ahead for all possible ways to enhance my student’s learning experience. As I get to know my students I look forward to sharing specific details about what makes each of them so very unique and wonderful.

My Project

With such young learners in kindergarten varying with a range of special needs, it would be a great privilege to have options and learning flexibility to deliver curriculum in fun, diverse ways. I want my students to benefit from having a listening center, being engaged in tactile learning experience, activities that stimulate creativity and imagination and that’s just to name a few. With the items I’ve selected to be purchased I will be on my way to structuring a classroom that fosters fun learning, independence and success. I am especially excited about the tactile learning sand items. Thank you so very much!
