My Project

My students come in to the classroom with a variety of academic and social-emotional strengths and needs. The common denominator among my students is that they all desire to be successful. Your support will help us meet that goal. The materials I am requesting are items that are important to my students' learning and the smooth running of the classroom. Technology is a big part of learning these days. Students are expected to be actively engaged with technology, practicing learned skills on their devices each day, and take all of their English Language Arts Assessments electronically. Without headphones the classroom becomes a very noisy, distracting place, especially for my students with learning differences.

The headphones I am requesting will facilitate focus and allow students to work quietly on their devices.

The pencils, erasable colored pencils, dry erase markers and erasers will help ensure that students' have what they need on a daily basis to actively learn. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me buy materials to help me differentiate the general education curriculum as well as help me create Math and ELA centers to meet all of my students' needs. The paper cutter will save me hours of cutting out materials from before-mentioned centers. I am requesting clocks, rulers, and number cards for each student so that they can use them for hands on learning in math. The tabletop easel and decodable readers will be used during daily small group work. Finally, I am requesting the SPOT bundle to support my students' in recognizing and regulating their emotions.
