Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I am working to create a comfortable and homey environment where students feel safe to be themselves and to take risks in their learning starting from day one. To do this, I've selected and included materials to help organize our space and to help foster a routine and soothing environment. I have also included basic school supplies that families have struggled to provide in years past to help fight against rising inflation difficulties. These basic supplies include glue sticks for hands-on projects, folders for student work, dry erase markers for small group activities and a visual timer to help instill time management. I am also asking for a laminator to preserve some of the special projects we work on throughout the year. I am so excited to dive into another in person school year and to get to learning and growing!
