Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our project is all about preparing the materials we need for the upcoming school year. There is a bubble refill solution for our program's bubble machine, and there are battery packs for all the electronic cause and effect materials we use in the classroom. This is for fun as well as development in cognitive development and physical development. In the area of physical development, we are getting a replacement stomp rocket kit for the one that our students used last year. We're also getting Mr. Potatohead kits and toy fruit kits to help our students in our intensive instruction center, where the kids learn how to play. There is also a set of industrial grade knee pads for me; it allows me to get on the floor with the kids and protect the health of my knees.

All these materials combine to ensure that our kids have the materials they need to have fun and to embed learning in our activities.
