My Project

In September, I will be starting a new position in my own classroom. Even though I have been teaching for many years as a Science teacher switching to a Core teaching position requires many more supports to set my students up for success. I want to ensure that my students have a cozy reading area to foster a love of reading that can continue for many years so we need storage and book bins. With all of these materials I will be giving my students an organized and welcoming classroom. Within my classroom, I will be using game-based math to help support their thinking and allow the students to work collaboratively with each other. Having flexible seating will allow my students to choose a different location where they can be successful in their learning.
