My Students

My students are super creative and talented beings. They love new challenges and are eager to immerse themselves into a "learning through discovery" environment, an atmosphere that I strive to create and foster in the classroom. My students are passionate musicians who are learning how to become story-tellers and artists through their love of music and arts. They come to class every day ready to make connections with themselves and others through affective learning goals. Technology also plays an important role in my student's learning, especially as a way to foster their curiosity but unfortunately most of my students require assistance in obtaining these necessities.

My Project

The materials in my project will allow me to create a welcoming and organized environment for my students to thrive in. The laminator and paper cutter will be used to assist me in creating fun and engaging ways for my students to learn through discovery. Students will be challenged to use their problem solving skills to acquire new skills and understanding of new concepts. The adhesive material will be used for me to hang up inspirational posters and pictures so that my students can learn in a room surrounded by positivity. The black tape will be used to help me create a music staff on the white board, thus cutting time so that my students can learn more within the class period. Finally, the organizational materials will be used to help my students develop responsibility and accountability.
