Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a huge jump from Pre-K. Students come to their new classroom with a mixture of emotions- fear, excitement, shyness, joy, etc. Please support me in creating a classroom that is secure, warm, and joyful. I made a list of new supplies- including prizes to motivate, decorative paper, borders for bulletin boards, markers for beautiful colors around the room, etc.

I very much want to support my students with special needs, because there are always those that need something a little different.

Because of this, I have also added wobbly chair feet (to convert my classroom chairs into ones that allow for sensory input), as well as phonics games to help students grasp important literacy skills in a fun and engaging manner.
