My Students

My pre-kindergarten class is composed of mixed backgrounds such as Polish, Caucasian and Hispanic students that are eager to learn. They just need the materials to help them explore and learn. They all have hard working parents that just want an enriched pre-kindergarten experience for their children. The students are well behaved, attentive and eager to learn. They are an inquisitive bunch. They are capable of so much! They absorb information like a sponge. I just need the materials to support their learning experience.

My Project

I am a new teacher that was placed into a classroom after the start of the school year, with very limited supplies. My students have definitely made the best of what they have. I want to give them the opportunity to explore and engage with as many resourses as possible. I would like to bring in games and tools that would work well for group and independent activities. I want my students to be able to challenge themselves on a daily basis. My students need some basic pre-kindergarten games such as math folder games, puzzles, a listening center and sensory sand that will help them to engage and prepare them for kindergarten.
