My Students

Do you remember how excited you were to go shopping for school supplies? I do and I still am excited to purchase new school supplies, but now my supply budget has been cut and most of my students can't afford the basic school supplies.

My students are a large group (20+) of five year olds who come from a low-income, rural area of South Carolina.

They love to explore and learn new things. For many of them, kindergarten is their first school experience and I want it to be a positive one.

My Project

Many of my students come to kindergarten with the desire to learn but without the necessary materials. My students need the basic school supplies of crayons, pencils, erasers, and paper to help them complete the daily work of kindergarten. These supplies will help them be better prepared to face the day and complete their work.

By ensuring that every child has these basic supplies, each student will be given equal opportunity to succeed.

Your donation for a few school supplies will help my students be successful in school. These basic school supplies are necessary to continue our working smoothly on a daily basis. By having the necessary school supplies we can focus on learning. Help us keep learning alive with a few basic school supplies!
