Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm looking forward to starting a new school year with the basic supplies needed to make my students' second year a wonderful one. I'm requesting headphones so they can have some quiet time to read books online and to work on classroom assignments. The headphones will help them concentrate on their tasks.

Brainstorming using chart paper and post its really helps second graders get their ideas on paper and they're able to see the ideas of their classmates.

They will be able to write down responses to literature and will also be able to explain their ideas. These materials will be used to brainstorm ideas when we're working on writing and comprehension.

The name tags are vital during class field trips and also when we're going to dance/ music class. It helps other teachers individualize each student in my class.

All of the materials requested will be very useful in our daily second grade activities.
