My Students

For the past 8 years I've taught a group of diverse first grader learners.

Next year, I will be moving to the world of special education (within the same school), where I will be working with students with special needs from varying grade levels. The students disabilities will range from ADHD to Autism to numerous others as well, and I will create a safe place for my students to reach their full potential.

My Project

In order to help my students reach their full potential in my classroom, I will need to change the way I teach and do things. In order to do this, I will be in need of new supplies to help create a safe place for my students. My students will use the calendar to help reinforce calendar concepts that they will be learning in their general education classroom. My students will need a supply caddie to help them keep their supplies organized and to help students working on sharing and other social skills. We will use the file folder organizer to help organize all of hard work that we will be completing in my classroom.
