Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first grade students love coming to school and are excited to learn. Many of them arrive hungry in the morning which makes it hard for them to focus during our morning routines.

These snacks will be available to students when they arrive (especially if they arrive late after our cafeteria has closed) so that they can have a healthy snack and be ready to learn.

A gift card from teachers pay teachers will also help me to purchase coloring pages and hands on crafts activities that students can engage with as they are arriving in the morning.
