Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At the beginning of the school year, it is important that students start the school year ready to learn. For that, we need to stock up on the essential materials that will support us in developing our writing, reading, math, and science. These essentials include notebooks, highlighters, colored paper, folders, markers and more.

On the first day of school, each student will arrive to a brand new set of notebooks that they will be able to make their own.

Each notebook will be specialized for a specific subject. The quad-ruled notebooks will provide scaffolds for multiplying larger numbers. The blank sheets in their science notebooks will allow each student to annotate and create their own thinking maps as they investigate scientific phenomena. With watercolors, decks of cards, and dry-erase markers, students will also have some educational activities to choose from during Choice Time.

These essential materials will help students engage in the learning and have a successful start to the school year. Help our class stock up on these essentials!
