Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will be used to enrich the learning environment in our classroom. The art supplies such as paint, paint brushes, and construction paper will be used for an artist study, where the class will create their own masterpieces after learning about a famous artist. We will also be reading from the big books to develop shared reading and decoding skills. The organizational supplies such as the folder bins will keep student work organized and tidy. They will use magnetic letters to develop their phonemic awareness skills which will help them with learning to read. Lastly, the prize box, stickers, and birthday crowns will be used as a reward for all of their hard work. Thank you!
