Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the most passionate and excited students to learn Computer Science. They work hard to grasp the concepts and strive for tactile and kinesthetic learning opportunities.

My students strive for greatness and truly desire the chance to showcase their skills and understanding.

They absolutely love showing their mastery of content and will talk about it for days. Many of my students are classified as the bottom third of NYC students yet are taking Advanced Placement Courses. Their passion, energy, and commitment to learning are truly inspiring.

My Project

My students are very active and are not used to sitting around all day. By providing this standing desk, students will be able to stand up throughout the day and support their work completion.

As my students are engaging in their return to school, it can be complicated to get used to the traditional "norms" of being within school.

This outlet would allow students to rotate and stand up whilst fully engaging with the activity and the process of learning!

My students are amazing! They deserve every opportunity to learn.
