This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting a Lakeshore Learning mobile standing desk for students and staff to utilize throughout the day to work at. Sometimes throughout the day, our students struggle with sitting still when it is time to do table work. This mobile standing desk would allow students to work with teachers either sitting or standing and meet them where they are physically.

My goals for this project are to work with our students throughout the day whether it is standing to complete small group work or strengthening their hands using fine motor strength.

My students are a variety of students from different walks in life but one thing that is consistent is that they are so excited and willing to learn.
