Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my second grade classroom my students engage in classroom presentations. Every month my students present a monthly project that varies in topic; whether it is talking about their family tree, conducting a science experiment, or relating facts about their favorite planet, my students love to participate in class!

My students need an area where they can place their projects as they present, so for this reason I am requesting a standing desk.

This desk will be used during our lessons, as well as when they come and work out math problems for others to see. Having this tool will allow my students to be more engaged in their learning and interact with others to help build their communication skills.

I am also requesting a magnetic analog clock to use for math instruction. The concept of time is one that second graders must master; therefore, I find it very beneficial to add this resource to my classroom. Please allow my students the opportunity to engage in learning all content matter by funding this project. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
