My Students

Students in my classroom come in to school ready to learn, well... some of them. While I believe they all have good intentions and know the expectations some students have a hard time meeting them.

For some students focusing is extremely difficult.

As hard as they try, they just can't control their wiggles, movement and distractions. These wiggles, movement, and distractions not only interfere with their own learning,but the students around them.

My Project

AlphaBetter Stand-Up Desks will allow students to burn off excess energy, allowing them to to focus better. Experts believe that movement keeps the brain engaged. The moving footrest allows for this continuous motion kids often need, without distracting their classmates. AlphaBetter desks also improve posture in students and help to burn calories in obese students.

Donations to this great project will fund the purchase of several AlphaBetter Stand Up Desks.

These desks will benefit the entire class by decreasing distractions and increase learning. It will benefit individuals with increased focus and decreased behavior problems. AlphaBetter Stand Up desks will benefit all students and I can't wait to see the change take place in my classroom.
