My Project

My 2nd grade ICT class includes a diverse group of children, including general education students and those with disabilities. My co-teacher and I have been very creative while parallel teaching. However, when all subject areas utilize Google Slides, it becomes difficult. When we parallel teach, one of us is teaching in the far end of the classroom, using a small laptop to show slides. Whereas the other uses the SmartBoard. Many of our students struggle to see content due to the limitations of using a laptop screen. For many reasons, having the LG StanByMe digital touch screen in the classroom is essential for both students and teachers in an ICT classroom.

By using the LG Stanby Me, we will be able to create and utilize 2 engaging lessons, as well as foster a learning experience that promotes inclusive learning.

This portable tablet would allow us to utilize, not only when we are parallel teaching, but also during small group instruction. It will provide students with engaging and interactive presentations for all subject areas. With the touch screen technology, students can actively participate in discussions, group activities, and presentations by directly interacting with the screen. The LG StanByMe digital touch screen also allows for students to be engaged during instruction and motivates students to want to learn.

Thank you for considering my request. The use of technology is such an asset for my students education. By donating to my project it will provide all of my current students and future students an equal opportunity to access content in an engaging way and will allow my students to be more successful.
