My teaching philosophy is based around the idea of "I do, We do, You do." This means that the teacher shows the students how to do it, then students do the lesson with the teacher, and then students take what they have learned to work independently. My students' favorite part is the last step.
My students come from an urban area that is often very dangerous and poor.
They overcome many obstacles and adversities on a daily basis. They need a classroom environment that is fun, warm, and engaging. They deserve to have fun learning activities to practice what they've learned in group lessons.
My Project
We need letter stamp sets, addition and subtraction stamps, word building stamps and ink pads to help to make learning centers kinesthetically appealing and fun for my students. With these stamps students will be able to build spelling words and sight words. They will be able to stamp addition and subtraction problems to fill in the blank.
Your very generous donation will help to give these wonderful kids a chance to succeed in school.
It will help to make learning fun and engaging. My students will love practicing their spelling words using ink pads and stamps. They will also love practicing adding and subtracting using the fill-in-the-blank stamp pads as well!
