Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting this year I'm teaching a carpentry course where students learn skills that they can apply to real life situations. They are learning how to saw and hammer wood, and how to solder.

A perfect first lesson for soldering is making stained glass ornaments.

My goal is for every student to make a stained glass ornament that represents their identity. Soccer balls, boxing gloves, anime characters, whatever the students can imagine, I want to help them express themselves.

Please help me purchase soldering kits so my class has enough for every student.
