Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach theater. In the past, I have focused on the students' performances. However, as the program grows and I have students who are taking class for their second year, I want to expand their knowledge.

Theater encompasses many different jobs.

One very useful skill is sound engineering. In order to properly teach this in my school, the students need to be able to use the microphones and other sound equipment in my classroom. With speakers and audio racks, I will have the tools my students need to practice and learn these essential skills.
