Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next year, our school is taking a bold step toward distraction-free learning by implementing Yondr pouches to remove cell phones from the classroom. While this will eliminate social media distractions, students will now rely entirely on school-provided technology and internet access for research, assignments, and interactive lessons.

Unfortunately, internet stability is inconsistent in our inner-city school, leading to frequent lesson interruptions, delayed work submissions, and lost instructional time.

When students can’t access materials, their education suffers. This project will ensure that our classroom is equipped with the necessary tools to provide fast, reliable access to digital resources.

With the Apple iPad and Apple Pencil, students will:

Engage in interactive lessons using educational apps for writing, drawing, and note-taking.

Access and complete digital assignments seamlessly without needing personal devices.

Develop digital literacy skills that prepare them for future careers.

With the Apple TV and JBL Soundbar, our classroom will:

Support high-quality multimedia instruction, allowing students to engage with video lessons, virtual field trips, and digital presentations.

Encourage collaborative learning, making it easy to share student work on the big screen.

With the TP-Link WiFi 7 Router, we will:

Strengthen internet stability so students can access online resources without disruptions.

Ensure that research, classroom activities, and digital testing function without delays.

By removing phones and investing in a strong, reliable digital infrastructure, this project will create a focused, tech-enhanced learning space where students can thrive without distractions.
