My Project

My students has the ability to learn, but they are plagued with so many issues that impact their learning, mental health and emotional wellbeing. Being a teenager, a positive image is important to demonstrate to others. Therefore, with the use of the pads and feminine wipes, it helps to build their self esteem which will promote comfort and happiness in school while they are away from home.

Additionally, with the games and discussion cubes it will motivate and build community among students.

Also, it will provide them with a safe space to communicate how they feel without any judgement and put down.

Mrs. Dover Science Skills Center Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
