My Project

I am so excited to be at a new school and a new grade this fall. I love first grade. Learning to read is such an adventure into phonics and sight words. There is so much for first graders to learn and remember about letters and sounds.

I want to provide the needed resources to help my students be independent readers and writers.

One wall in my room is an accordion wall. There is no place for a Word Wall to help with writing or a Sound Wall to help sound out words. I need bulletin board space to give my students anchor charts for sounding out words or writing words they may not know.
