Squeek! Squeek! We Need Some Mice! (Computer Ones! Not Mammals!)
Help me give my students computer mice! In class we use laptops with track-pads for our fingers to control the cursor. In English class, we highlight many notes directly in our online textbook to save and review

I teach English / Language Arts to tenth graders and seniors in Coral Springs, Florida.
A little over half of my group (55%) are a free/reduced lunch population and many participate in extra curricular activities, which requires money spent as well.
My Project
In our class we use laptops with track-pads and our fingers control the cursor. However, in Languge Arts Class we highlight many notes directly in our online textbook, to save and review later. The issue we have, is that highlighting text with a finger-controlled track pad is much more difficult than using an "old school computer mouse."
I would like some computer mice in order to help simplify and speed up the note-taking process for my students.
Most students do not bring personal computers to school and are use to the computer-mouse-control they have at home. I know that having a few computer mice of my own, in my classroom, will be bennificial to students for YEARS to come!
