Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our Title 1 students are disproportionately in temporary housing and oftentimes lack the basic necessities that would help them come to school as confident adolescents.

Having clean clothing to wear and items for proper hygiene is essential.

Unfortunately, our students are from families facing grave economic hardship post-pandemic. Hygiene items and access to do laundry and purchase hygiene & laundry detergent may fall under the category of luxury items.

I am seeking the help of generous donors to help fund these items to be given to students in need at our school.
