My Students

My students are inquisitive and eager to learn. They show so much excitement and surprise when they learn a new concept in science. I love seeing the glint in their eyes when they see something they have read about, or heard about, come to life in their minds.

I do my best to give my students hands-on experiments and real exposure to things they may never see other than in our classroom.

Some of these children, due to economic and life situations, may never have the ability to experience science other than in their classrooms.

My Project

The supplies I have requested will help my students take pride in our classroom. They will help us to keep it clean and organized. There are also supplies that will help them to have hands on experiences with science and see how it works in real time.

So many of our kids never leave the community we live in, allowing them to have these microscopes and owl pellets will allow them to experience something they may never see otherwise.

The flashlights will be used in many different experiments we will do throughout the year.

Due to Covid it has been important to teach our kids the importance of keeping things clean and tidy. The vacuum I am requesting will allow my kids to help take pride in keeping our classroom clean. There are days where we are short on custodial help due to staff shortages so having a vacuum the kids can use will be very helpful.
